Get ready…this is a big post! I am so excited to share our decorated-for-Christmas home with you gals. If you’re here for the first time from the Pink Door Holiday Tour — I am so glad you’re here! Snuggle up and stay a while, won’t ya?
Let’s get to it…WELCOME to our HOME! Come on in! xx
(former dining room)
Last year I laid this wreath on our dining room table as a quick and easy centerpiece. Since the dining room table is no longer in existence in our home (hello, family piano!), I added this wreath (a last year Target steal) to my favorite artwork. I love the added layer of texture for the holiday season. Speaking of that artwork, believe it or not, I get more questions about this oversized art than anything else in our home. It’s no longer available, but I tried to hunt down some similar look alikes for you in case you’re in the market.
I love having candles in each front window of our home. It reminds me of growing up — I can remember waking up sometimes from my mom coming into my room late at night and turning the candles off in my room.
The living room is the most traditional room in our home. I made sure the tree reflected that as well. I’ve turned into a 2 tree person — one for the front of the house and one for the room we live most in. I just love driving down around town at night and being able to see so many houses lit up with Christmas trees inside. For that reason, this tree is in window view!
Holiday NEST Candle
Even the bathroom deserves a little love — especially since it got a (huge) makeover not too long ago! Four simple Christmas decorations, and done! My personal favorite — the holiday NEST candle. It’s the BEST holiday smell. We have the small size of these sprinkled throughout our home. Don’t let the 2.4oz fool ya. It can smell up a room in no time! (Psst…they make great hostess gifts. Grab one…or four!)

Can you tell that this is my favorite room in our home? It’s just the loveliest. The bow tree was a spur of the moment decoration amidst my sleep stalking one night. There isn’t more perfect decor for my bow-loving little lady! I still can’t get enough of the light pink + gold everything. I never knew I could love a color combo so darn much!

Welcome to the most lived in part of our home! Our kitchen, den, and playroom all open up to each other. I love that we have an semi-open floorpan. These rooms are connected while the living and dining/piano rooms are separate. It’s the best of both worlds! We love our traditional little ranch so very much.
This skinny little 5′ tree that I snagged for $10 last year fits perfectly in this corner nook. I just couldn’t imagine not having the glow of the Christmas tree in our most lived in room. It was a must.
I filled this shelf with only Christmas pictures. There is a little bit of everything…some of just the two of us, tons of Nancy, and even a few from our childhood! I really enjoyed framing last year’s epic Santa fail pic.
Hello to that precious no-named stocking on the right! I can’t wait to see little boy S or little girl B’s name on it next Christmas…! 😉 Less than three weeks till we know whose it is!
I am obsessed with these vintage ornaments we found at my mom’s when we were helping her sort through way too many boxes of Christmas stuff. I gladly took these off her hands. I would love to find a little apothecary jar for them next year!
Nativity | Coffee Table | Christmas Memories Book | Faux Sheepskin Rug
Having the nativity set out on our coffee table (the best kid friendly coffee table ever!) makes my heart smile. Nancy makes it play “Away in a Manger” all the time, and I caught myself cracking up yesterday when I glanced over and noticed the sheep on top of the stable. Also noteworthy — the Christmas Memories book! It’s classic and so perfect for newlyweds/new parents. Grab one and gift it (even if it’s to yourself!)
I couldn’t resist this little board book from Amazon. Nancy is currently obsessed with the Happy Birthday song anyway (and is having a Happy Birthday, Jesus party in her classroom), so it couldn’t be more appropriate on every level!
This room is just the coziest — as it should be for the room in which we spend the most time!
Whew! Thanks (with all my heart!) for making it this far. My heart is certainly well-invested in our home, so it brings me such joy to share it with all of you! Merry Christmas, sweet friends!
