It’s no secret I might have a slight shopping obsession. I get it honest, our mama has a new package on her porch almost every single day…and I am probably becoming that way. Eeek! The funny thing for me is that now I am mostly getting things for Evie. It brings me way too much happiness dressing her up, she is my real live baby doll! Y’all have been asking about our favorite places to shop, brands, etc. for our little girls so I have tried to round up some picks that Evie currently has in her closet and some that I wish would make their way into her closet!
Full disclosure: I like to dress Evie in mostly “classic” clothes. She’s much more of a Mary Jane and smocked clothing girl than an eyelet top and white jeggings girl, but that’s just me! Speaking of Mary Janes, Freshly Picked came out with some and Evie has them in blush and platinum! I love them and was SO pumped when they introduced this more classic-spin to their already popular moccasins. Nancy rocked the moccasins with ease, but she’s always been better at pulling off both classic and trendier clothes. Love that sweet Pie. Speaking of Pie, our Mom got her the coordinating dress to Evie’s dress/bloomer set above! Swoon. Okay, I’ll just shoot it to you straight that my style-preference for Evie, sometimes comes with a bit of a price tag…so, I am #owningit, and letting y’all know that some of the things she has are investment pieces. I have no shame in admitting Florence Eiseman is my absolute favorite, swoon-worthy, I squeal if she is gifted any of it, brand. I am OBSESSED. I love finding it consigned or marked down and I look at what’s new/old/on sale/etc. way too much. The great news – Florence Eiseman came out with a knitwear line where the prices are significantly less expensive than the other clothes! I got Nancy some for her birthday and I just ordered Evie this dress and this dress and I can’t wait to try them on her (see, I’m obsessed, but I got Evie’s during a 25% off sale)!!!!
In Evie’s Closet:
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Old Navy too, like this ON dress that Nancy has. And as I was typing this post, I saw that they restocked (!!) the 12-18 month size so I just ordered it for Evie. It’s the cutest dress ever. And it’s totally a knockoff of this one but I genuinely like the ON version better. Oh, and they have it for babies too – right here! Another thing I love to do is monogram inexpensive finds for Evie! For instance, I bought her this sweater and this bubble in a pale pink gingham print (sadly sold out in all but one size) and had them monogrammed! It’s a win-win. I’m also loving Mini Boden, seriously the sweetest prints and it’s oh so soft. And, I love the cotton outfits from Janie and Jack like this one. Evie has this sweet ruffle collar onesie and I am tempted to buy an extra because it is so cute for layering…like with this bubble we have!
Okay y’all, not that Evie really needs ANYTHING clothing-wise, but goodness, why is it so.dang.fun to shop for baby girls?! Writing this post I have been oohing and aahing over so much goodness that I’m sharing all of my top “I want” picks below. So, please, go get some of this goodness for your baby girls and send me pictures of them wearing it!!
